My paper titled Living your animal: listening to wild gender and sexuality has been published in a book and a journal.
Review of Netflix series Ethos (2021) in the journal Studies in Gender and Sexuality.
Book review: Long, S. & Manley, J. (2019) Social Dreaming: Philosophy, Research, Theory and Practice. This review was published in Transformations, the journal of Psychotherapists and Counsellors for Social Responsibility.
I am currently writing a book on queering Jungian psychology which will be published as part of the Jung, Culture and Politics series by Routledge.
In addition, I am writing a chapter for the volume Gender, Sex, and Relationship Therapy: Theory and Practice, edited by Silva Neves, Dominic Davies, and Antonio Prunas, to be published by Routledge. My chapter will be titled "Biopsychosocial – and mysterious! Queer Jungian psychotherapy."
TEACHING
I have been a lecturer at the department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies (STACS) at Goldsmiths, University of London since 2017. I currently mainly teach on the MA Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy and BA Applied Psychosocial and Psychotherapy Studies. Also at Goldsmiths, I have developed the introductory course for those interested in training as therapists, which I have taught for many years.
I have also been a guest lecturer at Roehampton University and Birkbeck, University of London.
